This coming spring of 2014, I will be studying abroad in Tokyo, Japan
at the KCP International Institute. This program runs from April 6th to
June 21st and is one of the top language-focused intensive programs in
Tokyo. I did a lot of research in picking a program and marginally
intended to go from January to June. The Lord, however, really showed me
that such a long stay was not for me, at least this time. I will be
staying with a host family in Tokyo and have cultural excursions on
Saturdays.
I am going
mainly to grasp the Japanese language better and hope to increase my
fluency exponentially in the short period I am there and lay the
foundation for future experiences in Japan (perhaps grad-school,
teaching English, and becoming a translator/interpreter)
